Jo Horner

Jo Horner graduated with honors from the Professional Chef's Program at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in January 2006. A lifelong love of cooking and culinaria led Jo to pursue cooking as a profession after leaving a decade long career in IT for the finance sector.

 

Currently, Jo is studying to take the Certified Culinary Professional (CCP) exam from the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). She has also worked testing recipes for The Good Home Cookbook set to be released in the Fall of 2006.

 

She teaches Back to Basics, Spanish, French, and Italian classes in the Recreational Department at CSCA and also enjoys teaching Indian, Thai, and Mexican cuisines. In addition, Jo teaches at Create-a-Cook, a cooking school exclusively for kids ages 3 – 15 located in Newton; Eurostoves Culinary Centre in Beverly; and  Williams-Sonoma in Burlington. She also owns her own business, Amuse Bouche, Inc., where she provides catering, in-home culinary instruction, and personal chef services.   She also writes about food and cooking on her website, Amuse Bouche.
