Upstairs on the Square Site of Second Alumni Social

Tony Bettencourt '02, executive Sous Chef at Upstairs on the Square in Cambridge, hosted the CSCA's second alumni social. Nearly 50 alumni gathered in the Monday Club Bar to network, socialize, and eat. Bettencourt, along with line cook Greg Reeves '03, created a half dozen delectable hors d'oeuvres for the event, including Arrancini, Steak au Poive en Croute, Chickpea Beignets, Mousseline Foie Gras, Wild King Salmon Tartar, and Truffled Cauliflower Velouté.

The CSCA Board of Directors convened their second meeting at the alumni social. Members voted Sean Leonard '96 as President of the Board and Michelle Itzkowitz ’97 as Vice President. The Board also welcomed new member Jeff Pond '02, CCP. Jeff is the Executive Chef for the Bank of America Conference Center in Boston.

The next Board meeting will take place on Monday, June 7, 2004.
