Rose Levy Beranbaum Demonstrated Cakes at The CSCA on April 16, 2011
[ March 15, 2011] Award-winning author Rose Levy Beranbaum made her first appearance at The CSCA for a baking demonstration. Rose baked and decorated a selection of cakes from her latest book Rose's Heavenly Cakes.
Rose is the author of several cookbooks, including The Cake Bible, The Bread Bible, and The Pastry Bible. Her books have won honors from The James Beard Foundation, Food & Wine Magazine, and Publisher's Weekly. Most recently, the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) named Rose's Heavenly Cakes the Cookbook of the Year for 2010.
A popular guest on many television shows—The Today Show, The Early Show, and Martha Stewart to name a few—Beranbaum was also host of Baking Magic with Rose Levy Beranbaum, which premiered in 2004 on PBS stations nationwide.
In addition to her baking demonstration (there were samples of each cake for those in attendance), Rose discussed her career, took questions from the audience, and signed copies of her books.
