CSCA Alumna Julia M. Usher Demonstrated Cookie Decorating Techniques on Saturday, March 17, 2012
[March 19, 2012] The CSCA hosted Julia M. Usher in a hands-on cookie decorating class on Saturday, March 17th.
Author and CSCA Alumna Julia M. Usher is a celebrated pastry chef, writer, and stylist whose work has appeared in Vera Wang on Weddings, Bon Appétit, Fine Cooking, Better Homes and Gardens, Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion, Gastronomica, and nearly every national bridal magazine. She graduated from The CSCA's Professional Chef's Program in 1996. She holds the Certified Culinary Professional certificate from the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
Chef Julia taught flooding, marbling, and sanding decorating techniques to participants, who had the chance to design their own cookies.
All students received a copy of Ultimate Cookies.
