The CSCA Hosts the 6th Annual Holiday Bake Sale to Benefit Lovin' Spoonfuls
Helping the hungry in Massachusetts can be as easy as pie. The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts hosts its 6th Annual Holiday Bake Sale to benefit Lovin' Spoonfuls, a food rescue, on Saturday, December 10th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Students, alumni, and chef instructors from The CSCA will bake hundreds of items for the sale, including gingerbread houses, decorated cookies, bar cookies, candy, cheesecake, breads, Yule logs, cupcakes, croissant, coffee cakes, and Hanukkah treats. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Lovin' Spoonfuls, a non-profit organization that facilitates the recovery and distribution of perishable and unserved foods that would otherwise be thrown away and wasted.
In addition to sweet and savory treats for sale, the Bake Sale includes a raffle of donated items from area restaurants, businesses, and shops.
The CSCA's 6th Annual Holiday Bake Sale is open to the public.
