Admissions and Financial Aid

Financial Assistance

The CSCA does not offer financial aid. However, The CSCA has a loan source that provides low interest loans to qualified students. Our source is a financially secure public company that provides students and parents with a number of affordable options to help defray the costs of education.

To be eligible for a loan:

  • You must have a good credit rating.
  • Generally, your monthly debt payments should not be more than 40% of your gross monthly income.
  • You must have a U.S. social security number.
  • You or a co-applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible permanent resident.

If you are interested in either of these options you can contact our Loan Office and set up an appointment to do an on-line application. Appointments can be made by calling 617-354-2020 ext. 126 or sending an email to loans@cambridgeculinary.com

Financial Aid

The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts is not a Title IV school, and thereby our students do not qualify for federal aid. We are happy to assist prospective students in obtaining a loan from a private lender, as well as providing information about all available scholarship opportunities that exist for culinary students.

Veterans Benefits

The programs at The CSCA are approved by the State Approving Agency for Veterans Education Benefits, including the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Veterans may access the GI Bill website at www.gibill.va.gov to apply for benefits online. If you do not have the capability to apply online, call 888.442.4551 to request that a form be mailed to you. You may also receive an application form at The CSCA from the Certifying Official by calling 617.354.2020, ext. 131.

Labor and Workforce Development

The CSCA’s professional and certificate programs are currently approved for the Training Opportunities Program (TOP) Section 30. As a Massachusetts resident, you may be eligible for unemployment insurance benefits while attending one of our programs. You can access the website at www.ma.gov; click on Labor and Workforce Development for more information. Please contact your local One-Stop Career Center to determine your eligibility status. The locations of the Career Centers are listed on the website as well.
